Glynn Aikins vs Jasper Johnston

Boxing Daily Report from the AI New Zealand-Wellington promoted show at Wellington Hakopa, Wellington,  taking place on 17/09/2025:

There are plenty of empty seats out here tonight, with the show nowhere near close to selling out.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the New Zealand-Wellington Middleweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Glynn Aikins (6 - 8 - 1) who hails from Wellington, New Zealand and Jasper Johnston(8 - 5 - 3) from Wellington, New Zealand.  Aikins weighed in at 160 pounds, while Johnston weighed in at 159 pounds and 11 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Keka Paratene, and the three ringside judges are Oraora Pareraukawa, Ollie Steel and Glynn Morgan.
