Blake Malcom vs Gus Mateer

Boxing Daily Report from the Frank Smith’s Tea Boy Promotions promoted show at Alexandra Palace, London,  taking place on 04/10/2025:

There are plenty of empty seats out here tonight, with the show nowhere near close to selling out.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 8 round matchup are Blake Malcom (3 - 0) who hails from Townsville, Australia and Gus Mateer(4 - 1 - 1) from Leicester, UK.  Malcom weighed in at 153 pounds and 2 ounces, while Mateer weighed in at 154 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Sammy Farrell, and the three ringside judges are Joe Dempster, Darryl Byrne and Michael Findlay.
