Vere Lafon vs Byron Bedel

Boxing Daily Report from the Makasdjian Promotions promoted show at Port-au-Prince Aragon, Port-au-Prince,  taking place on 21/08/2025:

Clearly Makasdjian Promotions have made a mistake booking this venue with less than half the tickets sold, including those handed out as prizes by Boxing Daily.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Haiti-Ouest Lightweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Vere Lafon (9 - 6 - 1) who hails from Port-au-Prince, Haiti and Byron Bedel(10 - 2) from Delmas, Haiti.  Both Lafon and Bedel weighed in at 135 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Rance de Lamartine, and the three ringside judges are Phillippe Ledoyen, Boden Courtellemont and Byron Jadin.  

Round 1: 

Bedel is on target with a cross.  
Bedel advances into close range and lands a left hook followed by a right uppercut to his opponents body.  He follows up the attack and lands a right hook followed by a left hook to his opponents head.
