Xeres Acero vs Joaquin Montoya

Boxing Daily Report from the AI Spain-Catalonia promoted show at Baltasar Silvestre Gym, L'Hospitalet de Llobregat,  taking place on 21/08/2025:

Clearly AI Spain-Catalonia have made a mistake booking this venue with less than half the tickets sold, including those handed out as prizes by Boxing Daily.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Spain-Catalonia Light Flyweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Xeres Acero (8 - 7 - 2) who hails from Barcelona, Spain and Joaquin Montoya(12 - 3 - 1) from Badalona, Spain.  Acero weighed in at 108 pounds, while Montoya weighed in at 107 pounds And 14 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Xaverius Reyes, and the three ringside judges are Carlos Oseguera, Dario Merino and Juan Tabora.
