Leon Weatherley vs Mick Mapfumo

Boxing Daily Report from the Rattlesnake Promotions promoted show at Palmer Events Center, Houston,  taking place on 20/09/2025:

There are a few empty seats out here tonight, but this is a respectable turnout for the show.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Leon Weatherley (15(9) - 0) who hails from Oxnard, USA and Mick Mapfumo(13 - 2(1)) from Harare, Zimbabwe.  Weatherley weighed in at 241 pounds and 8 ounces, while Mapfumo weighed in at 257 pounds and 2 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Paul Speed, and the three ringside judges are Noah Fergusson, Johnny Cornejo and Asif Farra.
