Brett Steel vs Okapi Mankattah

Boxing Daily Report from the Rattlesnake Promotions promoted show at Palmer Events Center, Houston,  taking place on 20/09/2025:

There are a few empty seats out here tonight, but this is a respectable turnout for the show.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Brett Steel (12(4) - 1 - 2) who hails from Santa Clarita, USA and Okapi Mankattah(14 - 2 - 1) from Kumasi, Ghana.  Both Steel and Mankattah weighed in at 115 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Johnny Cornejo, and the three ringside judges are Paul Speed, Noah Fergusson and Asif Farra.  

Round 1: 

Mankattah throws a jab, but his opponent blocks the shot and counters with a firm right uppercut.  
Mankattah lands a double jab to his opponents head.  
Steel steps inside.  The two boxers are fighting in-close, but their heads clash!  The ref does not appear to have noticed the clash as Steel dabs at his face checking for damage.  
Mankattah pivots from in front of his opponent and lands a jab to Steel's body.
