Hanuman Babu vs Duleep Apte

Boxing Daily Report from the TFI promoted show at The Bell Hotel Conference Centre, Bangalore,  taking place on 22/09/2025:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the India Light Heavyweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on TEN Sports, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Hanuman Babu (8 - 7 - 4) who hails from New Delhi, India and Duleep Apte(14 - 7 - 1) from Mumbai, India.  Both Babu and Apte weighed in at 175 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Deepak Naik, and the three ringside judges are Sajid Niazi, Amit Pahalajani and Girish Bajwa.  

Round 1: 

Apte closes the distance and is on target with a left hook.  
Babu is looking to keep the action on the outside.  Apte feints a jab, but Babu ignores the feint and lands with a right hook.
