Edmondo Valenzi vs Rico Amoruso

Boxing Daily Report from the Akuffo Promotions promoted show at Modena Turro, Modena,  taking place on 21/09/2025:

There are plenty of empty seats out here tonight, with the show nowhere near close to selling out.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a mandatory fight for the Italy-Emilia-Romagna Lightweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on Eurosport Italia, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Edmondo Valenzi (11(1) - 1 - 2) who hails from Parma, Italy and Rico Amoruso(11 - 0) from Bologna, Italy.  Both Valenzi and Amoruso weighed in at 135 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Pepe Scappini, and the three ringside judges are Gianfranco Pirlo, Cecilio Di Guilio and Dino Falcone.
