Hisoka Niwa vs Mikio Kanai

Boxing Daily Report from the Nundwe Promotions promoted show at Sapporo Kudo, Sapporo,  taking place on 22/09/2025:

There are plenty of empty seats out here tonight, with the show nowhere near close to selling out.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a mandatory fight for the Japan-Hokkaido Super Bantamweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on Sky-A Sports, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Hisoka Niwa (14 - 2(2)) who hails from Sapporo, Japan and Mikio Kanai(8 - 2) from Hakodate, Japan.  Both Niwa and Kanai weighed in at 122 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Isamu Hara, and the three ringside judges are Raiden Sera, Kyo Kawabata and Eiji Suzuki.  

Round 1: 

Kanai connects with a cross.  
Niwa connects with a right hook.  
Niwa gets on the inside and lands two left hook's to the head followed by a right hook to the body.  
Kanai steps away from his opponent and is on target with a cross.
