Mikio Saito vs Fumio Shimizu

Boxing Daily Report from the AI Japan-Tokyo promoted show at Dai Tano Gym, Tokyo,  taking place on 22/09/2025:

There are plenty of empty seats out here tonight, with the show nowhere near close to selling out.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Japan-Tokyo Super Middleweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Mikio Saito (9 - 5 - 2) who hails from Tokyo, Japan and Fumio Shimizu(5 - 10) from Machida, Japan.  Saito weighed in at 168 pounds, while Shimizu weighed in at 167 pounds and 8 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Satoshi Fuse, and the three ringside judges are Hisoka Enomoto, Nori Tamanaha and Yuji Tsutsumi.
