Kieran Josiah vs Ricky Mieno

Boxing Daily Report from the AI Kenya-Kisumu promoted show at Kisumu Kajembe, Kisumu,  taking place on 23/09/2025:

There are a few empty seats out here tonight, but this is a respectable turnout for the show.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Kenya Heavyweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on KTV, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Kieran Josiah (16 - 3) who hails from Kisumu, Kenya and Ricky Mieno(8 - 5 - 1) from Mombasa, Kenya.  Josiah weighed in at 239 pounds and 10 ounces, while Mieno weighed in at 232 pounds and 11 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Mark Lavatsa, and the three ringside judges are Mick Mutu, Peter Kirui and Peter Kirui.
