Cruz Lopez vs Juan Delangel

Boxing Daily Report from the AI Mexico-Mexico State promoted show at Santiago Ortiz Gym, Tlalnepantla,  taking place on 26/08/2025:

Clearly AI Mexico-Mexico State have made a mistake booking this venue with less than half the tickets sold, including those handed out as prizes by Boxing Daily.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Mexico-Mexico State Bantamweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Cruz Lopez (11 - 7 - 4) who hails from Naucalpan, Mexico and Juan Delangel(10 - 3 - 3) from Nezahualcoyotl, Mexico.  Lopez weighed in at 117 pounds And 3 ounces, while Delangel weighed in at 117 pounds And 11 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Xalvador Salamanca, and the three ringside judges are Oleos Laguardia, Noe Moreno and Federico Villegas.

Delangel quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent and connects with a left uppercut.  Delangel throws an uppercut to the body, but lands well below the belt!  The ref stops the action and gives Lopez time to recover.
