Brendan Preddy vs Justin Moutray

Boxing Daily Report from the Monster Promotions promoted show at Toronto Hollinger, Toronto,  taking place on 25/10/2025:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 6 round matchup are Brendan Preddy (1 - 0) who hails from Edmonton, Canada and Justin Moutray(4 - 5 - 2) from Mobile, USA.  Preddy weighed in at 134 pounds and 12 ounces, while Moutray weighed in at 135 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Arnie Waddey, and the three ringside judges are Nick Nicolson, Callum Berry and Dave Suit.  

Round 1: 

Preddy advances into close range.  Preddy sidesteps to the right of his opponent and lands a left hook to the body followed by a right hook to the head.  
Moutray is looking to keep his distance.  Preddy lands a jab.  
Preddy is looking to close the distance and lands a left hook to the body, and then to the head.  Preddy holds on to his opponent.  As they grapple, Preddy pushes his forearm into Moutray's face.  The ref halts the action and breaks the clinch.  He lectures Preddy about fouling.  
Preddy cuts off the ring, trapping Moutray in the red corner.  Preddy pivots from in front of his opponent.  Preddy throws a right hook, but is unable to get through his opponents guard.  Preddy ties up his opponent.  Preddy uses his free hand to throw a body hook, but it lands on Moutray's kidney. The ref breaks Preddy's hold and signals for the fight to continue.  
Preddy advances into close range.  Preddy pivots to the side of his opponent and digs in a right uppercut to Moutray's body.  
Preddy tries to step out of his opponents range and lands a jab followed by a overhand left to his opponents head.  
Preddy gets on the inside.  Moutray throws a right hook, but Preddy holds on to his opponent.  The ref calls break and the two fighters separate.  
Preddy sidesteps to the right of his opponent and hits home with a left uppercut.  
Preddy gets on the inside.  Preddy sidesteps to the left of his opponent and is on target with a right hook.  
Preddy tries to keep the action at long range and lands with a  jab.  
Preddy steps inside.  Preddy sidesteps to the left of his opponent and lands a left hook followed by a right hook to his opponents head.  
Preddy hits home with a left uppercut.  Preddy attempts to land a right hook, but Moutray parries the shot and counters with a right uppercut to his opponents body.  
Preddy is looking to keep his distance and connects with a cross.  
Preddy steps to the outside and lands two consecutive straights to his opponents head.  
Preddy sidesteps to the right of his opponent and hits home with a cross.  
Preddy advances into close range.  Preddy voluntarily retreats back onto the ropes...he waves his opponent in!  Moutray accepts the invitation, throwing powerful combos, but is unable to land anything on Preddy.
