Boxing Daily Report from the AI Finland-Uusimaa promoted show at Vantaa Koivula, Vantaa,  taking place on 23/09/2025:

There are plenty of empty seats out here tonight, with the show nowhere near close to selling out.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a mandatory fight for the Finland-Uusimaa Heavyweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on Nelonen, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Jere Itkonen (12 - 3(1) - 1) who hails from Espoo, Finland and Sampsa Heikkinen(9 - 5 - 4) from Vantaa, Finland.  Itkonen weighed in at 212 pounds And 9 ounces, while Heikkinen weighed in at 216 pounds And 12 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Kauko Lehtinen, and the three ringside judges are Veijo Arajarvi, Gideon Laitinen and Elmo Alvar.
