Jake Hoy vs Max Shumway

Boxing Daily Report from the Smoking Joe promoted show at Valdez Hall, Fresno,  taking place on 06/10/2025:

The venue is mostly sold out with the fans eager to turn out for tonights fights.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 8 round matchup are Jake Hoy (2 - 0) who hails from Modesto, USA and Max Shumway(8 - 7 - 4) from Houston, USA.  Hoy weighed in at 235 pounds and 4 ounces, while Shumway weighed in at 241 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Oscar Hall, and the three ringside judges are Seferino Cossio, Amer Othman and Lee Copland.
