Diego Mateos vs Fidel Guerrero

Boxing Daily Report from the Darbenyan Promotions promoted show at Darbenyan Gym, Acapulco,  taking place on 25/09/2025:

There are a few empty seats out here tonight, but this is a respectable turnout for the show.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a mandatory fight for the Mexico-Guerrero Flyweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on TVC Deportes, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Diego Mateos (15 - 0) who hails from Acapulco, Mexico and Fidel Guerrero(15 - 3 - 1) from Acapulco, Mexico.  Both Mateos and Guerrero weighed in at 112 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Santiago Verduzco, and the three ringside judges are Alejandro Rayos, Frisco Estremera and Frisco Estremera.  

Round 1: 

Mateos closes the distance and lands a left uppercut to the head followed by a left hook to the body.
