Boxing Daily Report from the AI Nigeria-Lagos State promoted show at Lagos Hai, Lagos,  taking place on 26/09/2025:

There are a few empty seats out here tonight, but this is a respectable turnout for the show.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Nigeria Welterweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on AIT Sports, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Thompson Nurudeen (10 - 7 - 2) who hails from Abuja, Nigeria and Waqar Awan(14 - 5(1) - 2) from Lagos, Nigeria.  Both Nurudeen and Awan weighed in at 147 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Ogenyi Adelakun, and the three ringside judges are Orji Olatuga, Mark Etiebet and Paul Idoko.
