Gabriel Torrico vs Edmundo Alvarado

Boxing Daily Report from the AI Peru-Lima promoted show at Cris Baldonado Gym, Huacho,  taking place on 29/08/2025:

Clearly AI Peru-Lima have made a mistake booking this venue with less than half the tickets sold, including those handed out as prizes by Boxing Daily.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Peru Welterweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Gabriel Torrico (5(1) - 0) who hails from Lima, Peru and Edmundo Alvarado(5 - 5 - 2) from Lima, Peru.  Torrico weighed in at 147 pounds, while Alvarado weighed in at 146 pounds And 12 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Nicandro Quijas, and the three ringside judges are Macario Chaparro, Felippe Pedroso and Reynaldo Barcena.
