Boxing Daily Report from the Olokaonyango Promotions promoted show at Kano Adeniyi, Kano,  taking place on 26/09/2025:

There are a few empty seats out here tonight, but this is a respectable turnout for the show.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a mandatory fight for the Nigeria-Kano State Lightweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on AIT Sports, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Tunde Akpososo (12 - 3) who hails from Kano, Nigeria and Atif Khaliquzzaman(3 - 5(1) - 4) from Kano, Nigeria.  Both Akpososo and Khaliquzzaman weighed in at 135 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Gbolahan Lagelu, and the three ringside judges are Hope Ukuh, Gbolahan Adenaike and Theophilus Adeniran.
