Giorgio Zucco vs Vito Palagi

Boxing Daily Report from the Tim Novak promoted show at Prato Piglionica, Prato,  taking place on 09/10/2025:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  On the line tonight is the Italy-Campania Featherweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Giorgio Zucco (16 - 0) who hails from Naples, Italy and Vito Palagi(5 - 5 - 3) from Naples, Italy.  Both Zucco and Palagi weighed in at 126 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Giuseppe Lisi, and the three ringside judges are Francesco Violante, Colombo Masotti and Silvano Zoff.  

Round 1: 

Palagi throws a left hook, but his opponent parries the shot and counters with a right hook.  
Zucco drives a left hook into his opponents body.  
Palagi advances into close range.  Zucco lands a left hook to the head followed by a right hook to the body.  
Palagi walks his opponent onto the ropes.  Zucco is on target with a jab.

Zucco steps inside and lands a left uppercut to the body followed by a left hook to the head.  He then lands a left hook followed by a right hook to his opponents head.  
Palagi sidesteps to the left of his opponent.  Zucco drives a left uppercut into his opponents liver.  
Zucco connects with a left hook.  
Zucco lands a left uppercut.  
Zucco advances into close range and lands a right hook.  
Zucco lands a left hook to the body followed by a right uppercut to the head.  
Zucco lands two left hooks to his opponents ribs.  
Zucco sidesteps to the left of his opponent and lands a left uppercut to the head followed by a left hook to the body.  He follows up the attack and lands a right uppercut followed by a right hook to his opponents body.  
Zucco steps inside and hits home with a left uppercut.  Zucco holds on to his opponent.  Palagi hits his opponent with a kidney shot within the clinch. The referee warns Palagi and breaks the clinch.

Zucco quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent.  Zucco throws a right hook, but his opponent steps away from the shot.  Zucco ties up his opponent.  As they grapple, Zucco pushes his forearm into Palagi's face.  The referee warns Zucco and breaks the clinch.
