Liberatore Ceci vs William Shirar

Boxing Daily Report from the Tambo Promotions promoted show at National Guard Armory, Philadelphia,  taking place on 28/09/2025:

Clearly Tambo Promotions have made a mistake booking this venue with less than half the tickets sold, including those handed out as prizes by Boxing Daily.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Liberatore Ceci (11(1) - 0) who hails from Albany, USA and William Shirar(4 - 1) from Philadelphia, USA.  Both Ceci and Shirar weighed in at 108 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Greg Hanen, and the three ringside judges are John Montoya, Dave Weatherhead and Sam Cavanaugh.  

Round 1: 

Ceci hits home with a cross.  
Ceci feints a jab, and then attempts to land a cross, but Shirar sidesteps and counters with a solid right hook.  
Shirar pivots from in front of his opponent and lands a right uppercut followed by a right hook to his opponents body.  
Shirar digs in a left hook to his opponents ribs.

Shirar gets on the inside.  Ceci lands a sharp left hook.  Ceci clinches his opponent.  As they grapple, Shirar pushes his forearm into Ceci's face.  The referee warns Shirar and breaks the clinch.
