Brin Maaka vs Morgan Johnston

Boxing Daily Report from the AI New Zealand-Waikato promoted show at Chris Cowen Gym, Hamilton,  taking place on 01/09/2025:

Clearly AI New Zealand-Waikato have made a mistake booking this venue with less than half the tickets sold, including those handed out as prizes by Boxing Daily.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the New Zealand-Waikato Super Featherweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Brin Maaka (11 - 5 - 2) who hails from Hamilton, New Zealand and Morgan Johnston(6 - 2 - 2) from Hamilton, New Zealand.  Maaka weighed in at 129 pounds and 4 ounces, while Johnston weighed in at 130 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Leo Touch, and the three ringside judges are Patrick Bruce, Mark Urquhart and Wayne Skillen.  

Round 1:
