Foster Evra vs Briar Du Jeu

Boxing Daily Report from the Danquah Promotions promoted show at Pikine Jacob, Pikine,  taking place on 30/09/2025:

There are plenty of empty seats out here tonight, with the show nowhere near close to selling out.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Senegal-Dakar Super Lightweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Foster Evra (14 - 5) who hails from Dakar, Senegal and Briar Du Jeu(9 - 4 - 2) from Dakar, Senegal.  Both Evra and Du Jeu weighed in at 140 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Fletcher Duras, and the three ringside judges are Rush de Brosse, Rance Artaud and Josce Vanier.  

Round 1: 

Evra advances into close range and lands two left hooks to his opponents ribs.  
Du Jeu is looking to close the distance and throws a right hook, but Evra ties up his opponent.  Evra pushes his forearm into Du Jeu's face.  The ref calls break and the two fighters separate.
