Vic Theron vs Zaid Tshwete

Boxing Daily Report from the AI South Africa-Gauteng promoted show at Gold Reef Entertainment Centre, Johannesburg,  taking place on 30/09/2025:

There are plenty of empty seats out here tonight, with the show nowhere near close to selling out.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a mandatory fight for the South Africa-Gauteng Light Heavyweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on AIT Sports, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Vic Theron (15 - 2) who hails from Soweto, South Africa and Zaid Tshwete(10 - 11 - 1) from Mamelodi, South Africa.  Both Theron and Tshwete weighed in at 175 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Tlou Nqakula, and the three ringside judges are John Cele, Kofi Kpesebaan and Arali Kessels.
