Boxing Daily Report from the Sahaghyan Promotions promoted show at Madrid Monico, Madrid,  taking place on 30/09/2025:

There are plenty of empty seats out here tonight, with the show nowhere near close to selling out.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Spain-Comunidad de Madrid Welterweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Rafael Barcena (9 - 4) who hails from Madrid, Spain and Elias Laura(12 - 5 - 4) from Madrid, Spain.  Both Barcena and Laura weighed in at 147 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Paco Castilleja, and the three ringside judges are Santiago Leiva, Santiago Cedillo and Onofre Zaragoza.  

Round 1: 

Barcena gets on the inside.  Laura wants to work on the inside, but accidentally clashes heads with his opponent!  The ref does not appear to have noticed the clash as Barcena dabs at his face checking for damage.
