Callum Penrose vs Kris Finlayson

Boxing Daily Report from the AI USA-Kansas promoted show at Olathe Brewster, Olathe,  taking place on 02/09/2025:

Clearly AI USA-Kansas have made a mistake booking this venue with less than half the tickets sold, including those handed out as prizes by Boxing Daily.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the USA-Kansas Welterweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Callum Penrose (4 - 8(1) - 2) who hails from Overland Park, USA and Kris Finlayson(4 - 7 - 2) from Olathe, USA.  Both Penrose and Finlayson weighed in at 147 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Duncan Myres, and the three ringside judges are Geoff Glasgow, Jay Bonar and Mark Darby.  

Round 1: 

Finlayson is looking to keep the action on the outside and throws a jab, but his opponent dodges the shot and counters with a right uppercut.
