On Hien vs Kian McPheters

Boxing Daily Report from the Frank Smith’s Tea Boy Promotions promoted show at The Grand Hall at Troxy, London,  taking place on 30/09/2025:

Clearly Frank Smith’s Tea Boy Promotions have made a mistake booking this venue with less than half the tickets sold, including those handed out as prizes by Boxing Daily.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 8 round matchup are On Hien (5 - 0) who hails from Can Tho, Vietnam and Kian McPheters(2 - 4 - 1) from Bristol, UK.  Both Hien and McPheters weighed in at 168 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Amjad Khalili, and the three ringside judges are Joey Weir, Aaron McNabb and Rich MacGibbon.  

Round 1: 

McPheters hits home with a cross.  
Hien lands a jab followed by a right uppercut to his opponents head.  
Hien quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent and hits the target with a spiteful jab.

McPheters walks his opponent down, trapping him in the red corner.  McPheters hits home with a cross.

Hien tries to keep the action at long range.  McPheters attempts to land a jab, but Hien blocks the shot and counters with a right hook to his opponents ribs.  
McPheters gets on the inside and hits home with a right hook.  Hien holds on to his opponent.  McPheters pushes his forearm into Hien's face.  The ref halts the action and breaks the clinch.  He lectures McPheters about fouling.  
Hien steps away from his opponent and lands a cross, overhand left and a cross to his opponents head.  
McPheters is looking to close the distance.  McPheters sidesteps to the left of his opponent.  Hien lands two left hooks to his opponents ribs.

McPheters closes the distance and manouvers Hien into the corner.  McPheters throws a right hook, but Hien clinches his opponent.  McPheters leans on his opponent using all his weight. The ref breaks the clinch and signals for the action to continue.
