Arnie McQuillin vs Ximen Sanzo

Boxing Daily Report from the Bones Promotions promoted show at Jack Meyrick Gym, San Jose,  taking place on 02/10/2025:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Arnie McQuillin (5 - 0) who hails from Wakefield, UK and Ximen Sanzo(2 - 10 - 2) from San Jose, USA.  Both McQuillin and Sanzo weighed in at 154 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Chris Jones, and the three ringside judges are John Rhydderch, Gareth Downey and Ben Banos.  

Round 1: 

Sanzo is looking to keep his distance.  McQuillin tries to land an overhand right, but his opponent slips the shot and counters with a left hook.  
McQuillin closes the distance and lands a left hook.  McQuillin ties up his opponent.  McQuillin tries to make the space to throw a hook, but hits Sanzo behind the head. McQuillin is leaning on his opponent in the clinch. The ref calls break and the two fighters separate.
