Raimy Kakooza vs Zaid Martyrs

Boxing Daily Report from the AI Uganda-Kampala District promoted show at Gethin Byaruhanga Gym, Kampala,  taking place on 02/10/2025:

There are a few empty seats out here tonight, but this is a respectable turnout for the show.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Uganda-Kampala District Featherweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Raimy Kakooza (4 - 8 - 4) who hails from Kampala, Uganda and Zaid Martyrs(10 - 1) from Kampala, Uganda.  Both Kakooza and Martyrs weighed in at 126 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Chata Saleh, and the three ringside judges are Imran Zaman, Salim Tusabe and Tavarius Tebazaalwa.  

Round 1: 

Martyrs hits home with a right hook.  Martyrs ties up his opponent.  Martyrs is using his forearm in the clinch.  The ref breaks the clinch and signals for the action to continue.
