Azam Mir vs Umair Abraham

Boxing Daily Report from the AI Uganda-Northern Region promoted show at Gulu Bitamazire, Gulu,  taking place on 02/10/2025:

There are plenty of empty seats out here tonight, with the show nowhere near close to selling out.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a mandatory fight for the Uganda-Northern Region Cruiserweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on UTV, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Azam Mir (16(1) - 1) who hails from Gulu, Uganda and Umair Abraham(7 - 10 - 1) from Gulu, Uganda.  Both Mir and Abraham weighed in at 200 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Tobias Nkore, and the three ringside judges are Chata Kabonero, Sid Commins and Ricky Ssekimwanyi.  

Round 1: 

Abraham advances into close range.  Mir digs in a left hook to Abraham's body.
