Ian Phillips vs Zack Ables

Boxing Daily Report from the AI USA-Utah promoted show at Richie Akins Gym, Salt Lake City,  taking place on 14/10/2025:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  On the line tonight is the USA-Mountain West Super Flyweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Ian Phillips (15 - 0) who hails from Salt Lake City, USA and Zack Ables(1 - 0 - 3) from Colorado Springs, USA.  Phillips weighed in at 114 pounds and 13 ounces, while Ables weighed in at 115 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Scott Ronald, and the three ringside judges are Vince Aitken, Charlie Treharne and Daniel Ruthven.
