Igor Cilvecinsh vs Skjold Morgensen

Boxing Daily Report from the Latvia Boxing promoted show at Skonto Hall, Riga,  taking place on 08/11/2025:

The venue is mostly sold out with the fans eager to turn out for tonights fights.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Igor Cilvecinsh (15 - 0) who hails from Riga, Latvia and Skjold Morgensen(7 - 13 - 3) from Aalborg, Denmark.  Both Cilvecinsh and Morgensen weighed in at 160 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Sergei Cesnieks, and the three ringside judges are Mikhail Cers, Pyotr Rutitis and Pyotr Rutitis.  

Round 1: 

Cilvecinsh lands a jab followed by a overhand left to his opponents head.

He then lands a right hook to the body followed by a left uppercut to the head, KNOCKING MORGENSEN DOWN!  He makes it to one knee, but is unable to rise any further as the ref counts 10!  The winner by KO is Cilvecinsh!
