Noah Marn vs Rob Hughes

Boxing Daily Report from the Rattlesnake Promotions promoted show at Rattlesnake Gym, Arlington,  taking place on 26/09/2025:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 4 round matchup are Noah Marn (3(2) - 0) who hails from Boise, USA and Rob Hughes(0 - 3) from Louisville, USA.  Marn weighed in at 146 pounds and 11 ounces, while Hughes weighed in at 147 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Chris Suit, and the three ringside judges are Stuart Ferrera, Robert Corfield and Michael Toste.  

Round 1: 

Marn throws a left hook, but the shot is blocked.  Marn clinches his opponent.  Marn leans on his opponent using all his weight. The ref breaks the clinch and signals for the action to continue.  
Marn manouvers his opponent into the corner.  Marn is on target with a right hook.  
Marn closes the distance and is on target with a right hook to his opponents body.  
Marn cuts off the ring, trapping Hughes in the corner.  Marn digs in a left hook to Hughes's liver.  
Marn lands a right hook followed by a left uppercut to his opponents body.  Marn clinches his opponent.  As they grapple, Marn pushes his forearm into Hughes's face.  The ref calls break and the two fighters separate.  
Hughes tries to keep the action at long range and is on target with a cross.  
Marn throws a cross, but his opponent blocks the shot and counters with a right hook.  
Hughes switches the action to the outside.  Marn feints a right hook, but Hughes does not fall for it and lands with a right hook.  
Marn is looking to close the distance.  Hughes attempts to land a right hook, but Marn sidesteps and counters with a left hook.  
Marn lands three consecutive right hooks to his opponents ribs.  
Marn throws a left hook, but is unable to get through his opponents guard.  Marn holds on to his opponent.  Marn is using his forearm in the clinch.  The referee separates the two fighters and warns Marn.  
Marn lands a left hook followed by a left uppercut to his opponents body.  
Hughes switches the action to the outside and tries to land a jab, but his opponent slips the shot and counters with a cross.  
Marn is looking to close the distance and lands a left hook to the head followed by two right hook's to the body.  
Marn gets on the inside and manages to force Hughes into the corner.  Marn pivots to the left of his opponent and lands a left hook followed by  two right hooks to his opponents body.  
At the end of Round 1, lets listen in on the corners...Hughes's trainer is passing on some tactical advice.

Marn closes the distance and throws a right hook, but is unable to get through his opponents guard.  Marn clinches his opponent.  Marn tries to make the space to throw a hook, but hits Hughes behind the head. The ref separates the two fighters.  
Marn closes the distance and walks his opponent into a corner.  Marn lands a right uppercut followed by a left hook to his opponents body.  
Marn lands a left hook followed by a right hook to his opponents body.  
Marn is on target with a sharp right hook to Hughes's body.  
Marn lands a left uppercut to the body, and then to the head.  
Marn is on target with a right hook to his opponents body.  
Marn lands a stinging left hook.  
Marn steps inside.  Hughes pivots to the side of his opponent.  Marn lands a right hook to the body, and then to the head, AND STUNS HIS OPPONENT!  
Marn thinks he can end the show early....he's looking to put Hughes away.  Marn lands a right hook followed by a left hook to his opponents body.  He continues the combination and lands a left uppercut followed by a right uppercut to his opponents body.  It looks like Hughes has now recovered from that earlier bodyshot.  
At the end of Round 2, lets listen in on the corners...Hughes's trainer is advising how he could improve the accuracy of his work.  Hughes's trainer is telling his fighter he needs to be more active or he's going to get outworked.  Hughes's trainer is telling his fighter to tighten his defence.

Marn steps inside and lands a left uppercut to the head followed by a left hook to the body.  Marn holds on to his opponent.  Marn leans on his opponent using all his weight. The ref separates the two fighters.  
Marn lands a right hook to the body, and then to the head.  He then lands a right hook to the body followed by a left uppercut to the head.  THAT HURT HIS OPPONENT!  Hughes almost instantly recovers. 
Marn gets on the inside and lands a right hook, left hook and a left uppercut to his opponents body, AND DROPS HUGHES!  He is back up on his feet at 5.  Hughes quickly recovers. 
Marn closes the distance and is on target with a sharp left hook.  
Marn steps inside and lands three consecutive left hooks to his opponents ribs.  
Marn closes the distance and lands a left hook to the head, a left hook to the body and a right hook to the body.  
Marn pivots to the left of his opponent and hits home with a firm left hook.  
Hughes tries to land a jab, but his opponent sidesteps and counters with a stinging left uppercut.  
Marn closes the distance and lands a right hook to the head followed by a right uppercut to the body.  
Hughes tries to step out of his opponents range.  Marn stalks forward with a low guard, trying to draw a lead from his opponent.  Hughes is on target with a cross.  
Marn advances into close range.  Hughes pivots to the right of his opponent.  Marn tries to land a left hook, but his opponent blocks the shot and counters with a left hook.  
Hughes tries to keep the action at long range.  Marn feints a right hook, and then is on target with a cross.  
Marn is looking to close the distance and lands a left hook, right hook and a left hook to his opponents body, AND KNOCKS HUGHES DOWN!  He beats the count, getting up at 8.  
Marn steps inside and is on target with a right hook to Hughes's body.  Marn ties up his opponent.  Marn is leaning on his opponent in the clinch. The ref breaks Marn's hold and signals for the fight to continue.  
Marn crashes a DEVASTATING right hook to his opponents body.  HUGHES HAS BEEN KNOCKED DOWN!  THE REF IMMEDIATELY WAVES OFF THE FIGHT...HE'S SEEN ENOUGH!  The fight has been stopped!  The winner by TKO is Marn!
