Jacob Ryan vs Morgan Pait

Boxing Daily Report from the Gold Coast Promotions promoted show at Gold Coast Convention and Exhibition Centre, Gold Coast,  taking place on 25/10/2025:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 6 round matchup are Jacob Ryan (5 - 0) who hails from San Diego, USA and Morgan Pait(12 - 8 - 4) from Melbourne, Australia.  Both Ryan and Pait weighed in at 126 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Francesco Ghiglia, and the three ringside judges are John Taggart, Stuart Gowan and Charlie Cacciari.  

Round 1: 

Pait lowers his hands, trying to provoke his opponent to attack.  Ryan lands a jab, left hook and a jab to his opponents head.  
Ryan lands a jab, overhand right and a cross to his opponents head.

Ryan lowers his hands, trying to provoke his opponent to attack.  Pait attempts to land an overhand right, but Ryan sidesteps and counters with a right uppercut to Pait's body.

At the end of Round 1, lets listen in on the corners...Ryan's trainer is passing on some tactical advice.  Pait's trainer is telling his fighter he needs to be more active or he's going to get outworked.  Pait's trainer is advising how he could improve his defence.

Pait hits his opponent with a kidney shot within the clinch. Pait is using his forearm in the clinch.  The ref calls break and the two fighters separate.
