John Gotch vs Alec Marvingt

Boxing Daily Report from the Billy Smith promoted show at James Craik Gym, Huntsville,  taking place on 16/09/2025:

Clearly Billy Smith have made a mistake booking this venue with less than half the tickets sold, including those handed out as prizes by Boxing Daily.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the USA-Deep South Super Bantamweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are John Gotch (12 - 2 - 3) who hails from Birmingham, USA and Alec Marvingt(6 - 1(1)) from New Orleans, USA.  Both Gotch and Marvingt weighed in at 122 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Mark Bringhurst, and the three ringside judges are Owen Leckie, Owen Belliston and James Younie.
