Leon Labi vs Dior Garros

Boxing Daily Report from the Mr. Vicious promoted show at RDS Arena, Dublin,  taking place on 08/11/2025:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on RET One, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Leon Labi (10 - 1 - 1) who hails from Accra, Ghana and Dior Garros(8 - 5(1) - 4) from Abidjan, Ivory Coast.  Both Labi and Garros weighed in at 147 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Mel Mohan, and the three ringside judges are Killian Bourne, Leon Mohan and Will Nolan.  

Round 1: 

Labi voluntarily retreats back onto the ropes...he waves his opponent in!  Garros tries to tag Labi on the ropes, but his opponent blocks every shot!  
Garros quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent and lands a cross to Labi's body.  
Labi lands a jab to the body followed by a cross to the head.  
Labi lands a left hook to the body followed by a jab to the head.  
Labi is looking to close the distance and hits home with a right hook.  
Labi lands three consecutive left hooks to his opponents head.  
Labi is looking to keep his distance and lands two consecutive straights to his opponents head.  
Labi is looking to keep the action on the outside.  Garros quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent.  Garros attempts to land a jab, but Labi sidesteps and counters with a left hook to his opponents body.  
Garros drives a jab into his opponents body.  Garros attempts to land an uppercut to the solar plexus, but he strays low!  The ref stops the action.  The ref sends Labi to the neutral corner.  He lectures Garros but does not take away a point.  
Garros switches the action to the outside and hits home with a cross.  
Labi closes the distance and lands a left hook to the body followed by a right uppercut to the head.  
Labi lands a right hook to the head, a right hook to the body and a left hook to the body.  
Labi hits home with a left hook.  
Labi drives a spiteful jab into his opponents face.  
Labi closes the distance.  Labi hits home with a right hook.  As Garros tries to work on the inside, the fighters heads come together!  The ref does not appear to have noticed the clash as Labi dabs at his face checking for damage.  Labi has taken some damage from that accidental headbutt.  That has caused minor damage to the nose.  
Garros throws a right hook, but his opponent blocks the shot and counters with a cross.  
Garros sidesteps to the left of his opponent.  Labi lands with a ramrod jab.
