Cortez Armenta vs Zacarias Cerna

Boxing Daily Report from the Habe Promotions promoted show at Quito Madray, Quito,  taking place on 17/09/2025:

Clearly Habe Promotions have made a mistake booking this venue with less than half the tickets sold, including those handed out as prizes by Boxing Daily.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Ecuador-Pichincha Welterweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Cortez Armenta (9(1) - 0) who hails from Quito, Ecuador and Zacarias Cerna(8 - 2) from Quito, Ecuador.  Both Armenta and Cerna weighed in at 147 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Santiago Rolon, and the three ringside judges are Hernan Alameda, Seferino Montalbo and Alvino Casiano.
