Mel Landreth vs Shaun Matheson

Boxing Daily Report from the AI New Zealand-Wellington promoted show at Stuart Stealey Gym, Wellington,  taking place on 17/09/2025:

Clearly AI New Zealand-Wellington have made a mistake booking this venue with less than half the tickets sold, including those handed out as prizes by Boxing Daily.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the New Zealand-Wellington Middleweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Mel Landreth (4 - 8 - 6) who hails from Wellington, New Zealand and Shaun Matheson(3 - 14 - 2) from Wellington, New Zealand.  Landreth weighed in at 159 pounds and 3 ounces, while Matheson weighed in at 160 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Richie Hughson, and the three ringside judges are Alen Ritchey, Mark Ruskin and Patrick Swanson.
