Leighton Platt vs Davie Piat

Boxing Daily Report from the AI Canada-Ontario promoted show at Ottawa Larrimore, Ottawa,  taking place on 16/10/2025:

There are a few empty seats out here tonight, but this is a respectable turnout for the show.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 6 round matchup are Leighton Platt (2 - 0) who hails from Winnipeg, Canada and Davie Piat(4 - 5 - 1) from Calgary, Canada.  Both Platt and Piat weighed in at 126 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Richie Clasby, and the three ringside judges are Kian Clanahan, Antwan Dundas and Ethan Craig.  

Round 1: 

Piat switches the action to the outside.  Platt lands a cross followed by a jab to his opponents head.  
Platt gets on the inside and hits home with a right hook.
