Jens Manderscheid vs Oskar Strassburg

Boxing Daily Report from the Jacob Howes promoted show at Jacob Gym, Munich,  taking place on 28/09/2025:

There are a few empty seats out here tonight, but this is a respectable turnout for the show.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 4 round matchup are Jens Manderscheid (0 - 0) who hails from Duisburg, Germany and Oskar Strassburg(0 - 3) from Heidelberg, Germany.  Both Manderscheid and Strassburg weighed in at 160 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Alger Jenne, and the three ringside judges are Bem Gerhard, Abbey Krogmann and Bannruod Aken.  

Round 1:

The ref acknowledges the accidental headclash but allows the action to continue.  Strassburg has come off worse after that clash of heads.  That has caused slight swelling  around the right eye.

Manderscheid gets on the inside.  Manderscheid sidesteps to the right of his opponent.  Manderscheid throws a left hook, but his opponent steps away from the shot.  Manderscheid holds on to his opponent.  Manderscheid leans on his opponent using all his weight. The ref calls break and the two fighters separate.  
Strassburg tries to keep the action at long range.  Manderscheid connects with a cross.
