Luigi Quagliata vs Massimo Mancuso

Boxing Daily Report from the Sikatana Promotions promoted show at Gianluigi Cingari Gym, Palermo,  taking place on 21/09/2025:

Clearly Sikatana Promotions have made a mistake booking this venue with less than half the tickets sold, including those handed out as prizes by Boxing Daily.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Italy-Sicily Super Featherweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Luigi Quagliata (8 - 5 - 5) who hails from Palermo, Italy and Massimo Mancuso(11 - 7 - 1) from Messina, Italy.  Both Quagliata and Mancuso weighed in at 130 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Leonardo Bartolini, and the three ringside judges are Cristiano Donadoni, Luca Catanoso and Rodolfo Candreva.  

Round 1: 

Quagliata drives a left hook into his opponents body.  
Mancuso connects with a cross.

Mancuso lands a left hook.  As Mancuso tries to work on the inside, the fighters heads come together!  The ref does not appear to have noticed the clash as Quagliata dabs at his face checking for damage.  
Mancuso attempts to land a jab, but Quagliata sidesteps and counters with a left hook.  
Mancuso lands a right uppercut to the body, and then to the head.  
Mancuso drives a right hook into Quagliata's ribs.
