Antwan Falconer vs Jimi Mayra

Boxing Daily Report from the Big Bang Promotions promoted show at Kupittaan j��halli, Turku,  taking place on 25/10/2025:

The venue is mostly sold out with the fans eager to turn out for tonights fights.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on Yle TV2, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Antwan Falconer (7(2) - 0) who hails from Leeds, UK and Jimi Mayra(5 - 2) from Oulu, Finland.  Falconer weighed in at 147 pounds, while Mayra weighed in at 146 pounds and 5 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Aake Kononen, and the three ringside judges are Daavid Makinen, Mooses Laituri and Panu Peltola.  

Round 1: 

Falconer attempts to land a right hook, but Mayra slips the shot and counters with a left uppercut.  
Falconer gets on the inside and drives a left hook into Mayra's body.

Falconer lands a right hook followed by a left uppercut to his opponents body.

You can sense Mayra is getting frustrated in there.    He pushes his head into his opponents face!  That has caused minor swelling  around the left eye.  The ref halts the action and sends Falconer to the neutral corner.    He warns Mayra that he is heading for a point deduction.
