Elshad Caribzhanow vs Afanas Imasheff

Boxing Daily Report from the Bariagher Promotions promoted show at Almaty Kantareew, Almaty,  taking place on 23/09/2025:

Clearly Bariagher Promotions have made a mistake booking this venue with less than half the tickets sold, including those handed out as prizes by Boxing Daily.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Kazakhstan Featherweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on KTK, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Elshad Caribzhanow (8 - 8(1) - 1) who hails from Almaty, Kazakhstan and Afanas Imasheff(9 - 7 - 1) from Almaty, Kazakhstan.  Both Caribzhanow and Imasheff weighed in at 126 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Igor Kazbekov, and the three ringside judges are Irfan Secksenov, Isaak Isabecoff and Eyyub Ghaksybek.
