Malik Zafar vs Ali Awad

Boxing Daily Report from the Boye Promotions promoted show at Mashhad Hsu, Mashhad,  taking place on 22/10/2025:

There are plenty of empty seats out here tonight, with the show nowhere near close to selling out.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a mandatory fight for the Iran-Razavi Khorasan Heavyweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on IRIB, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Malik Zafar (11(1) - 0) who hails from Mashhad, Iran and Ali Awad(13 - 2) from Mashhad, Iran.  Zafar weighed in at 237 pounds And 8 ounces, while Awad weighed in at 243 pounds And 6 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Syed Galla, and the three ringside judges are Kashif Greiss, Syed Rajput and Amer Farman.
