Connor Laird vs Fausto Matas

Boxing Daily Report from the AI USA-Mississippi promoted show at Braddy Field, Jackson,  taking place on 27/10/2025:

Clearly AI USA-Mississippi have made a mistake booking this venue with less than half the tickets sold, including those handed out as prizes by Boxing Daily.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Connor Laird (15(5) - 0) who hails from Kingston, Jamaica and Fausto Matas(7 - 7 - 3) from Mexico City, Mexico.  Both Laird and Matas weighed in at 200 pounds.  
The referee tonight is David Cloy, and the three ringside judges are Richard Cargill, Geoff Biggar and Hayden McCallum.
