Francisco Valdespino vs Quico Villar

Boxing Daily Report from the AI Mexico-Tamaulipas promoted show at Beltran Behar Gym, Nuevo Laredo,  taking place on 25/09/2025:

Clearly AI Mexico-Tamaulipas have made a mistake booking this venue with less than half the tickets sold, including those handed out as prizes by Boxing Daily.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Mexico-Tamaulipas Super Lightweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Francisco Valdespino (4 - 7 - 2) who hails from Reynosa, Mexico and Quico Villar(7 - 7 - 4) from Reynosa, Mexico.  Both Valdespino and Villar weighed in at 140 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Xavier Alverez, and the three ringside judges are Isidro Morena, Agapetus Llorente and Francisco Rigor.
