Ichiro Koizumi vs Aki Nakayama

Boxing Daily Report from the AI Japan-Hyogo promoted show at Kenji Oyama Gym, Takarazuka,  taking place on 23/10/2025:

There are plenty of empty seats out here tonight, with the show nowhere near close to selling out.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Japan-Hyogo Welterweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Ichiro Koizumi (3 - 15) who hails from Kobe, Japan and Aki Nakayama(4 - 12 - 3) from Himeji, Japan.  Koizumi weighed in at 147 pounds, while Nakayama weighed in at 146 pounds and 6 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Hajime Nishioka, and the three ringside judges are Takeo Miyamoto, Ryo Ohara and Hiro Noda.  

Round 1: 

Koizumi sidesteps to the left of his opponent and is on target with a right hook.
