Yakubu Girei vs Hope Adenihun

Boxing Daily Report from the AI Nigeria-Kano State promoted show at Kano Ezenwaka, Kano,  taking place on 26/09/2025:

Clearly AI Nigeria-Kano State have made a mistake booking this venue with less than half the tickets sold, including those handed out as prizes by Boxing Daily.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Nigeria-Kano State Featherweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Yakubu Girei (14 - 6 - 3) who hails from Kano, Nigeria and Hope Adenihun(5 - 3 - 2) from Kano, Nigeria.  Both Girei and Adenihun weighed in at 126 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Efe Adadevoh, and the three ringside judges are Chinedu Shekari, James Obekpa and Chris Adebola.

Adenihun steps to the outside and lands a cross.
