Federico Velez vs Santiago Armendariz

Boxing Daily Report from the AI Mexico-Coahuila promoted show at Saltillo Tejada, Saltillo,  taking place on 26/10/2025:

There are plenty of empty seats out here tonight, with the show nowhere near close to selling out.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a mandatory fight for the Mexico-Coahuila Flyweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on TVC Deportes, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Federico Velez (12 - 4 - 2) who hails from Saltillo, Mexico and Santiago Armendariz(6 - 0) from Saltillo, Mexico.  Velez weighed in at 111 pounds and 9 ounces, while Armendariz weighed in at 112 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Xaverius Montera, and the three ringside judges are Joaquin Canseco, Porfio Danon and Dimos Lona.
