Idris Onyearugbulem vs Elderson Amkpa

Boxing Daily Report from the AI Nigeria-Borno State promoted show at Majid Saah Gym, Bama,  taking place on 27/10/2025:

Clearly AI Nigeria-Borno State have made a mistake booking this venue with less than half the tickets sold, including those handed out as prizes by Boxing Daily.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Nigeria-Borno State Super Lightweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Idris Onyearugbulem (8(2) - 3 - 1) who hails from Maiduguri, Nigeria and Elderson Amkpa(5 - 7 - 3) from Maiduguri, Nigeria.  Both Onyearugbulem and Amkpa weighed in at 140 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Gethin Rotimi, and the three ringside judges are Irfan Rahaim, Mohsin Kassem and Syed Hariri.
